Located in the heart of Karratha, our 47 room boutique hotel Ibis styles Karratha is ideal for business & leisure travel, surrounded by dining & shopping with easy access to Heart of the town
We currently have the opportunity for a customer service orientated professional to join our friendly Front Office team in the role of a Guest Service Agent.
We have full time Hours available Plus accommodation for the right person.
you be working PM Shift From 2PM-10PM most Days with 2 days off to enjoy the Pilbara.
Reporting to the Assistant Manager and General Manager you will be responsible for:
Providing a personalized service and experience for our guests to enjoy around the hotel
Recognizing and welcoming regular guests
Maintaining accurate guest accounts
Answering guests queries in a timely and efficient manner
Addressing guest requests and handling guest complaints in a positive manner
Liaise with inter departments to assist guest and advise of room moves/ bookings
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
Previous Front Office experience desirable
Professional telephone manner and exceptional customer service skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
A warm friendly personality and positive can-do attitude who enjoys working in a team
Excellent grooming and presentation standards
Intermediate computer skills – Word, Excel, Opera Cloud, PMS and Outlook
Previous experience with booking systems desirable but not essential
Current open drivers license desirable but not essential
MUST have the flexibility to work shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends
