Housekeeping Team Member | Rainbow Sands

Join the team at a boutique hotel in Rainbow Beach. Close to the surf beach and the main township, the local Hotel and restaurants. Rainbow Sands is located on the gateway to the southern tip of K’gari Island and the Coloured Sands.

Typical duties and Responsibilities include:

• Daily cleaning hotel rooms and common areas including pool, reception, office, laundry, outdoor spaces.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the hotel.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, conduct with attention to detail
• Restock cleaning products and linen daily
• Report any maintenance issues to General Manager
• Follow all work health and safety procedures
• Responding to safety and security issues
• Maintain a professional and helpful attitude whilst on duty towards guests and colleagues
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Skills & Experience

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience desired
• Knowledge of WHS and responsibilities
• Great people and communication skills with an eye for detail
• Availability to assist with on-call duties and work across a 7 day roster (weekends and Public Holidays).
