Boat Deckhand - On Fabulous Sydney Harbour

A Deckhand is required for charter Catamarans on Sydney Harbour. Together with our Skippers, you will provide our guests with a superb cruising experience for groups of up to 40. It is a fun, rewarding role on our beautiful harbour.

The role has 4 key focus areas :

1. Ensure the guests have fun in a safe environment, including serving food and beverages. Some BBQ cooking as well as presenting pre-prepared food,
2. Look after the vessel. Ensure the saloon, decks and galley remain clean.
3. Assist the skipper with mooring the vessel, safely loading and unloading guests.
4. Boat cleaning after the event, including organising supplies.

Your experience and skills:

- You are pleasant are good with people, and well presented.
- Some experience with boats is required - mandatory.
- RSA desirable

Hours :
- Typically cruises are for 5-6 hours in either afternoon or evening. The charters are typically from Fri-Sun, with Saturdays the primary day.
- This is a casual role with varying hours (10-25) hours per week as agreed.

Rates :
$30 - $35 per hour depending on experience level.
