Junior Sous Chef - Accomodation Available

We are high quality group of restaurants with two sites on the Mornington Peninsula and are looking for chefs to join our kitchen teams.

our food is based on modern bistro style dishes with focus on seafood.

With the restaurants being open lunch and dinner over 7 days we are able to offer a flexible roster including a four day working week, which allows our kitchen team a great work life balance. A full share of the tips is given to each of our employees for every shift, we pay above award wages and actively work with our employees who we value to help them secure long term visas to live in Australia

We are looking for a person who enjoys cooking and working within a professional environment and has highly developed cooking skills gained through working in a fine dining restaurant environment and relevant trade qualifications.

The role includes;

Preparation and cooking of dishes across all sections, including but not limited to butchery, pastry, bread making and fish preparation. A solid knowledge of classic French, Italian and European techniques is required.

We are working constantly to refine and improve our product and are looking for a person who would like to come on board and work closely with our Head Chef, the other management and the owners to ensure that our family of restaurants continues to gain recognition as places that both guests and staff enjoy being in.

We have staff accomodation available in a share house that is leased in the nearby town of Rye.
