Administration - Accounts Payable

Based in Goondiwindi QLD, Carrington Cotton Group of Companies (RMI Pty Limited) is a family owned agricultural group involved in a diverse range of activities including; irrigated cotton, ginning, warehousing and logistics, broad acre grains and pulses, livestock breeding, backgrounding, feed lotting, along with Motel and Caravan Park operations.

We currently have an exciting opening for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team and are looking for a motivated and experienced candidate to join our team.

As the Accounts Payable Administrator you will be responsible for the accounts payable, invoicing, imports and reconciliations. Other duties will include assisting fellow administration staff in various areas, maintaining the supplier database and developing a great understanding of the diverse agricultural areas, the business operates.

The Responsibilities includes:
• Managing the Accounts payable inbox
• Matching purchase order and coding
• Reconciling supplier accounts
• Processing invoices
• Preparing and submitting weekly and monthly payment runs
• Ageing creditor reports and reconciliations
• Respond and resolve supplier issues

Skills and Experience:
• Prior experience using various large ERP systems
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of the basic principles of business operations
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• A good work ethic with attention to detail
• Friendly and well presented
• Previous payroll and accounts receivable experience is desirable
• Good Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel
