Hospitality Cleaners

Seeking high-standard casual hotel cleaning staff for our resort in Charters Towers. You MUST have prior hotel-cleaning experience, MUST have a clean and current manual driving licence, MUST be fit and energetic and MUST take a pride in your work. Applications without at least two months’ prior cleaning experience will not be taken further so please don’t send them if you don’t have the experience. Cleaning is not for everyone and we need it to be done to perfection and done efficiently. A minimum of 3 months work here is also essential, and you will be on a two-week trial. Preference is given to those with their own transport. KPIs will be used to monitor your performance for timings and quality of work.

We offer heavily-subsidised on-site housing, use of hotel facilities (gym, tennis, pool etc), and good accommodation. 25 to 38 hours a week. There are other tasks including groundswork, mowing, gardening, and helping out with small events so you must be able to work in hot weather.

A high level of attention to detail is essential, as well as initiative, common sense and good time-management with the ability to problem-solve and multi-task. Hourly rates will range from $30 to $32 depending on your experience and skill level, and will be at the lower range while training. The hotel is set on a large property, which is quiet and a lovely place to be, but is not for party people. A high standard of English is also a pre-requisite, and anyone with an allergy to animals is advised not to apply.
