Bagging Line Operator

Baker Seed Co. is a wholly Australian Family owned seed business based in Rutherglen, North East Victoria, which has been producing & processing seed for four generations.

We are looking for casual Bagging Line Operators to join the Baker Seed Co team. The Bagging Line Operator is responsible for the setup and operation of the bagging machines, mixers and automated palletiser. Ensure that the correct bags, labelling, palletising and materials are packaged correctly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains the bagging equipment to achieve optimum efficiency.
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work instructions.
Monitor equipment, reporting any faults or issues to their Supervisor.
Ensures that the packaging and product label matches the materials dispensed and is void of foreign materials.
Ensures the final packaging is neat and clean in appearance, neatly stacked on a pallet.
Achieves maximum production while maintaining quality and completeness of the material produced.
Ensures all information recorded on Production Reports is accurate and complete.
Conduct clean down of equipment and verify same on Production Reports.
Ensure raw materials & finished product is not exposed to adverse weather conditions.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform other job functions as directed by their Supervisor.
