Job Description
I am looking for a cook with experience working in a busy kitchen and creating menus.
My cafe is in a vibrant, tourist town and I require a cook who can work at a fast pace throughout the day. The successful applicant will work with me, to produce a fresh menu, catering for many varied dietary needs.
Keeping the kitchen to a high standard of cleanliness will be expected, as well as liasing with me regarding the ordering and purchasing of food stocks.
We are open Wednesday to Monday. Closed Tuesday. During school holidays we are open 7 days. The cook will be required to work 5 days/week.
Quorn is a small town in regional South Australia and has many interesting sights to discover during your days off. It offers opportunities such as hiking, camping and bush walking.
As we are 40km from the next major town, you would be required to move to Quorn. Once you are settled in our cosy town you will soon become a part of our welcoming community.
Accommodation can be arranged for the successful applicant.

We are a vibrant, busy cafe in a regional, tourist town, about 4hrs north of Adelaide. We are well known for our extensive use of the native fruit, Quandong, which grows in our own 'backyard'. From April to end of October, Quorn operates a popular tourist train, known as the Pichi Richi Railway. This brings people from all over Australia as well as many overseas visitors. There are many tourist sights to see in the general area, with many camping sites to enjoy the 'Great Outdoors" on your days off.
