Job Description
We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic person to join our team.

The Civic Guest House is a friendly, clean hostel located in a quiet street of the Townsville CBD.

We currently have a paid role available. The successful person will perform a variety of duties including General Housekeeping and Reception/Night manager duties.

Housekeeping Role: Regular duties will involve mainly housekeeping, kitchen cleaning and general maintenance.
Reception/Night managing Role: Reception/ check ins, emails, phone calls. Be able to demonstrate a high level of communication. Fluent in English - verbal and written

This position will have a paid component of approximately 20 hours per week and also 12 hours of Work for accommodation. Hours are varied but would allow for additional paid jobs outside of the hostel for those seeking extra money.

The successful applicant would be required to live at the hostel and be part of our team.
We are looking for someone to commit for a minimum of 3 months and hours can be used toward visa extensions (462 and 471) but this is not a full time role.
