Job Description
Manpower is the global leader in temporary and permanent recruitment workforce solutions specialising in recruitment across all professional services industries.
Our client is looking to welcome a Quality Inspector to join their Port Melbourne facility.
This role offers 40 hours per week to the successful candidate, with some overtime depending upon workload. Required working days are currently Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm.
You will be paid weekly on an hourly rate, with an increased rate for overtime and weekends, plus Superannuation.
Role description:
Inbound inspection of non-commodity parts
Outbound inspection of assembled products
Liaison with vendors regarding quality
Assisting with mechanical assembly if needed
Role requirements:
Quality inspection experience
Must be able to read engineering drawings and understand instructions
Attention to detail
Toolmaking, fitting & turning, sheet metal, casting, welding, and surface treatment experience
