Who are we looking for?

We are interested in speaking to applicants that have an interest or experience in a position that involves manual handling, container loading and unloading, cold storage and warehousing. We are recruiting for 40 positions.

This is an entry level position based at our facility in Brooklyn, Melbourne, VIC with the opportunity to upskill and increase your hourly rate. The hourly rate is $22.42 as per the JBS Australia Pty Ltd Brooklyn Cold Storage Enterprise Agreement 2018.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Manual handling, sorting and lifting of boxes up to 25kgs in a cold environment
General warehousing duties such as wrapping pallets and scanning
Some freezer work may be required
About you:

Work well in a team environment
Looking for a stable ongoing 40 hours per week
Have reliable transport
Ability to take part in physical work
Ability to work in a Chilled environment
Availability on the AM shift starting at 5am or afternoon shift starting at 1:30pm
Monday to Friday only, with the opportunity of overtime
Able to work in freezer environment if required
COVID Vaccinated with Booster
