Harvest Machinery Operator - Various Locations

Our client is farm to table producers of world class pecans, walnuts, macadamias, and almonds. They are currently looking for Harvest Machinery Operators to join this upcoming tree nut harvest. With a history stretching back almost 200 years, they are one of Australia’s oldest companies and a pioneer of the tree nut industry.

Agri Labour Australia is now taking applications for several harvest machinery operators to join one of their great facilities where you will be operating various machines such as a shaker, sweeper, bank out and other labouring task directed by the supervisor.

Here’s what you can expect:
- A generous salary of $29.23/hour, with applicable overtime.
- You will be given a reward of an extra $2 per hour. To receive the reward, you must complete your project commitment.
- Approximately 60 hours per week
- Multiple locations to choose from
1. Narrabri and Moree, NSW from April to August
2. Leeton, Tabbita, Avondale, NSW from Feb to April
3. Swansea, Tas from Feb to April

Skills & Experience
Proactive and a keen team player, you will be flexible, and reliable, and come to work with a ‘can do’ attitude. To be considered for the role, it’s important you can address the following criteria:
- Driver’s license
- Experience in machinery operation
- No nut allergy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing will be carried out prior to harvest and randomly
throughout the season.
