Cook Or Chef [sponsorship Available For The Right Applicant]

We are looking for a cook or a chef to come and work with us on a permanent basis (12+ months). Applicant MUST already be in Australia.

Bonfire Station Farmstay and Microbrewery is a family run business that offers a fun and inviting atmosphere for all. We pride ourselves on quality food and outstanding service. We are a small and close-knit team that work hard and loves the lifestyle that this business allows us.

*How your week will look*
Weekends are our busy time when we are catering for onsite events like birthdays and weddings for up to 80 guests. On Sundays we open our doors as a wood fired pizza restaurant. During the week we may have a function or this is a good chance to catch up on ordering and prepping for the weekend.

*Qualifications & experience*
Basic cooking skills required, we’re happy to develop skills with you.
It’s a plus if you can demonstrate experience.
Good communication is essential
Team Player that can also work autonomously
Own transport is probably a necessity due to the location

*Tasks & responsibilities*
Basic cooking duties from catering to pizza kitchen work.
Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
Ordering and stock management.
Prepping pizza dough, ingredients and preparing for service.
Prepare, cook and properly present food.
Collaborate on developing new menus for special occasions (Easter, Oktoberfest, Mothers day etc)
Manage incoming customer orders and coordinating with wait staff.
