Volunteer Energy Exchange For Space, Meals And Amenities - Now Accepting Applications For September

Dear Lovely Byron Backpacker Community..

We currently have a vacancy for up to 3 persons (being either a couple or two to three travel companions) to volunteer here at our little sanctuary for one to two months.

Own private space including own kitchen, shower, toilet and comfortable accommodations set in a garden sanctuary is available..

We are a little family venture blessed with 3.5 acres of pristine paradise surrounded by hundreds if acres of protected wildlife sanctuary just 15 mins from the little township of Uki (2484).. (50 mins west of Byron Bay, 40 mins to the coast (South Golden Beach)..

We are a small family of three (one full time here & two part time on the coast) lucky enough to be sinking in roots after 7 years of becoming established on this blessed land we call home..

We are in the beginnings of creating a healing space on our little patch centered around meditation and gardens..

We are an intentional space having multiple projects on the go..

The offer is an energy exchange helping me Gwoya to keep things rolling along here in return for comfortable accommodation, meals and access to this pristine and predominately quite paradise.. The offer also includes all amenities such as bedding, water, power etc...

The exchange is 3 x (steady but not back breaking) 7 hour contribution days in return for each 7 days stay (21hrs work = 7 Days accommodation and meals for 3 days)..

We also wish everyone to be able to enjoy the space for its natural beauty and abundant space when its time to chill and relax which there's plenty of.. especially the amazing natural beauty of the lands and the waters here where you'll find swimming holes and waterfalls in abundance..

There are food gardens to be worked with fresh food to be shared.. Various spaces to be constructed and to be enjoyed.. think yoga decks with mountain views, abundant water, cold plunges, bush walks, swimming holes and waterfalls...

Once your work contributions are completed you are invited to enjoy the private land and waters here in peace and or partake as little or as much as you feel in additional activities as they happen..

We suggest your own transport is essential so you remain connected to the greater community out there.. or it can become isolating for the best of us..

We take on new volunteers every two months and prefer a minimum of 4 weeks and offer a maximum of 8 weeks stay..

If you are interested in volunteering please give us at least a weeks notice as we receive many applications.

We currently have a self contained lined 5 meter Belle tent (sleeps up to 3 persons comfortably) with own fully equipped outdoor Kitchen, own bathroom, toilet and views, having privacy and the potential to make yourself at home..

We understand that nothing is forever especially when exploring a big country, we just want everyone to enjoy the time they do spend here...

We also entertain the odd Van if you're needing a space to stop and be still for an extended period before your next big adventure...

Being handy helps, but being enthusiastic is better.. we are always happy to impart knowledge and teach new skills if you're keen to learn and have a go.. we are about to start building a SUPER ADOBE DOME if that interests you!
