Perimeter Solutions are a global supplier of Firefighting foams & Retardants and we are currently contracted by the State of Victoria to provide retardant and suppressant mixing and loading service to all fixed Large Airtanker (LAT) bases, located throughout Victoria.
We are also engaged by most Fire Agencies around Australia (Tasmania, Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales) on “Call When Needed” contracts for the provision of this service. We operate both Fixed and Portable Airbases (PAB) on these contracts and the PAB’s, like our fixed bases, deliver mixed firefighting additives to a range of aerial platforms. E.g., Single Engine Airtankers (SEATS) and helicopters in addition to the LATs.
This is a 14 week seasonal position, on a 7day on/7day off roster rotation. When you are on Roster, we pay for all meals and accommodation.
As an Airtanker Loader, you are responsible for the mixing and loading of fire retardant into air tankers during periods of fire activity.
All tasks are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, in full compliance with relevant OH&S policies & procedures, and relevant Emergency Management Agency policies. We provide all the required training and onboarding you'll need.
