Casual And Seasonal Positions (farming, Harvest, Processing, Despatch)

We are now taking applications for seasonal teams across multiple departments, based at our largest prawn farm and production facility, Proserpine Prawn Farm.

In these seasonal roles, you will work together to contribute to the growth and production of our Australian black tiger prawns, producing high quality, healthy and sustainable prawns for the seafood market.

Our prawn harvest season commenced in October and goes through until May. We are doing intakes between November and December.

Farming – roles could be within the following teams: pond operations | hands on aeration/paddlewheel maintenance | Feed team pond technician (wet role) | Drivers
Harvest - roles could be within the following teams: hands on harvesting teams (water roles) | Drivers
Processing - assisting with the processing and packaging of our product
Despatch/Warehousing - supporting the logistics coordinator in the day-to-day warehouse and distribution activities
Additional information:

Rosters vary across different operations - work weekend and public holidays that fall on your roster, penalties + OT apply
Commitment to the season (May) is required for all roles
Our hourly pay rate starts at $27.39 including casual loading (25%)
Australian Working rights will be required to be considered for this role.
Physical functional assessment and alcohol and drug test are incorporated into our Pre-employments
