Chef/cook

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our close knit team at our Live Music/Function Venue.

The position is Friday - Sunday with a minimum of 50 hours a fortnight.
This role includes the service of breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Essential skills and experience:
1. Experience in a similar position/role with at least two years experience in a kitchen.
2. Experience working in a fast paced environment/ kitchen (preferred but not essential).

2. Mature and responsible;
3. Ability to work in a team

Responsibilities of the role:
1. Preparing meals for our customers.
2. Prepping ingredients and all meal prep.
3. Checking food and ingredients for freshness.
4. Working well under pressure and within the time limit.
5. Ensuring that the kitchen area, equipment and utensils are cleaned.
6. Helping lead and inspire our kitchen staff with the Venue Manager.
7. Wowing our guests with amazing dishes.
