1/. Part Time Housekeeper/room Attendant 2/. Part Time Reception/ Laundry

We are looking for a reliable, switched on single (or couple) to be part of our Guest Services team over summer to deliver great quality tourism accommodation experiences for our valued guests and be able to commence mid December 2024 or asap for the reception/laundry position.
There are two positions available.
1/. Guest services - Reception (3 days a week reception plus laundry and some housekeeping on other days) Possibly accommodation available on site for a single in a self contained bed sit. Immediate start.
2/. Guest Services - house attendant(s) for room servicing and cleaning as required over 7 days a week. Mid Dec start ready for the commencement of the tourist season. Accommodation may be available at the local backpackers 80 M from the property.

Reception. You will have excellent computer skills, maybe experience in front office reservation systems as well as excellent communication skills and the Australian (English) language as you will be interacting with guests directly as well as taking online and telephone reservations.
Reception:- Tuesday -Thursday each week plus laundry. Other days laundry 9.00am - 2:00pm and some house attendant duties if required.

House Attendant(s) You will have an excellent eye for detail, be thorough, possess good communication skills, be honest, reliable, and have a great attitude towards work along with well developed people skills as you will be interacting with guests, staff and the working family proprietors.
- Up to 5- 6 days per week to assist with housekeeping duties (contract cleaning plus subsidised accommodation for days worked
Hours generally 9:00am up until 2:00pm but depends upon daily housekeeping needs. Days off when quiet.
Current ABN holders earn approximately $40+ per hour on average servicing ensuite rooms and cottages.
You will need to provide a commitment for a minimum of 12 weeks.
Additionally, being a very popular and busy tourism town there is usually always extra afternoon and evening work available should you be interested in either local restaurants or the local tavern/bakery/ cafe which is next to the Backpacker Accommodation or in the backpackers itself.
However, please note that you will need to give priority to our business for all work between 9-2pm which leaves afternoons and evenings free for other pursuits and additional work.

While there is very limited accommodation onsite ( for the reception/laundry position) there is a local backpackers hostel nearby. ( 80M)
We can assist in subsidising your accommodation at the nearby 80M Freedom Lodge (Backpackers) by paying 50% of your accommodation costs for the days you work for us, at the end of your first months work, and at the end of each month thereafter. Work is available right through generally until a week or two after Easter.

Alternatively , if you have your own motor home, or van there is room onsite to park with toilet, power, internet and water available.
