With an unbeatable beachfront address on 75 Mile Beach, K’gari Beach Resort (formerly Eurong Beach Resort) is the hub for four-wheel-driving experiences along K’gari (Fraser Island’s) east coast.
With expansive grounds, the resort includes newly renovated accommodation, as well as a restaurant and bar, renowned Eurong Bakery, and a General Store.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

K’gari Beach Resort is seeking an experienced Trade Qualified Chef or Cook to join our team in the resort’s restaurant ‘McKenzies on 75’ offering buffet breakfasts, al-la-carte dining and pool-side pizzas in a relaxed coastal setting. This is a live-on-island opportunity, ideal for someone looking to embrace the remote lifestyle.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Passionate about quality food and service
Committed to delivering brilliant customer experiences
Ability to commit to rostered shifts (10 days on, 4 days off)
The ability to relocate and live in the staff accommodation
Hold the right to live and work in Australia

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 2-3 years experience post-qualification
Experience working in a high-volume kitchen
Certificate III or IV Commercial Cookery
Diploma Hospitality Management (highly regarded)
HACCP and Food Safety and Hygiene training
