About the Role

Reporting to the Allocator, you will be playing a key role in the day-to-day garage management function of the business.

Due to the nature of this busy role, we are looking for applicants who have experience in repairing power tools and enjoy managing a garage/warehouse.

To be successful in this role, the right applicant will be able to work autonomously, have strong organisational skills and be mechanically minded.

You must have had at least 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the building and construction industry.

This role is ideally suited to a candidate that is looking for a challenge and is ready to be accountable for their role in the business.



Duties

You will be responsible for:

Vehicle management
Tool maintenance and management
Stock management
Keeping the garage clean and organised
Test & tag tools and check for safety
Team support

Skills & Experience

To be considered you will need:

General knowledge of tool/equipment/inventory management
Test and tag qualification (would be highly regarded)
Mechanical skills
To be enthusiastic and self-motivated
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding time management. The ability to plan out your day and communicate this effectively with the rest of your team is key to being successful in this role
Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
A drivers license (is a must have)
A forklift license would be of advantage
