Landscape Maintenance Team Members

Austspray Environmental are specialists in weed control, landscaping, natural area management and restoration, waterway maintenance and medium to large scale planting/gardening projects. Our Landscape Maintenance Team services across large commercial sites from Coolangatta to the Sunshine Coast and out to Ipswich and surrounding areas.

We are looking for Team Members who are strong, fit, honest, reliable and enthusiastic to join our team.

What duties can you expect to carry out?
• Garden maintenance in parks
• Centre medians and roadside garden maintenance
• Commercial scale mulching and plantings
• Some landscape construction work

What will you need?
• Some experience in landscape maintenance in a commercial environment
• Some experience in weed control by herbicide and manual methods
• White Card (essential - can't commence work without this)
• Valid driver’s licence (manual is preferred)
• Own reliable vehicle to get to base
• Communication and time management skills
• Willingness to learn

It would be great if you have the following, but not essential:
• Cert III in Parks & Gardens/Horticulture or equivalent
• Weed ID skills
• ACDC license
• Level 2 Traffic Management
• MR/HR license
• Chainsaw ticket

We can offer full time jobs with annual leave to suitable candidates. We will also consider casual roles and those on working holiday visas. Uniforms and PPE will be provided - you will need to supply long work pants and steel cap boots. Outstanding employees may be considered for industry training and qualifications after a probationary period.

Austspray Environmental is a smoke free workplace (even on breaks), and we carry out pre-employment and random drug testing. We start and finish our days at our base in Stapylton, then travel to site in our company vehicles.
