Job Description
Rombola Family Farms has a great opportunity for passionate and driven Forklift Operators to join the team in Mataranka. The Forklift Operators will support harvest operations by carrying out a series of jobs including, weighing, packing, transporting and loading of products into the cool room and trucks as directed.
For successful candidates at our Mataranka location, accommodation onsite is available to rent. The candidate is responsible to get themselves from there accommodation to the designated workplace. Generally, work vehicles are not provided, except for certain roles.

To be considered for casual employment with us during harvest, you’ll need to:
Be available to commence work with us for the entire harvest period from April through to November. Be available for day or night shifts up to 12 hours, up to 7 days a week including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays;
Be capable and willing to work in a busy environment. Due to the high physical demands of these positions and regular periods of hot weather workers will need to be physically fit and self-motivated;
Be at least 18 years old and an Australian citizen or permanent resident, New Zealand citizen or hold a valid work visa and be able to provide evidence of your right to work.
Have a current forklift licence.
Successful applicants will be required to organise their own transport.
Accommodation is available on the farm or in close proximity to the farm.
Incentives:
AgMove is an Australian Government reimbursement model valid until the 30 June 2022 available to Australian citizens and working holiday makers.
Australian citizens are entitled up to the following amounts:
$2,000 for 40hrs over 2 weeks
$6,000 for 120hrs over 4 weeks
Working holiday makers:
$650 for 40hrs over 2 weeks
$2,000 for 120hrs over 4 weeks
AgMove will reimburse the following:
Travel costs
Workwear costs
Accommodation whilst travelling
Accommodation for the first 61 days on farm
Food costs whilst travelling
