Job Description
Gregory Downs Station is located 17kms from Gregory and 100kms from Burketown in the beautiful Australian Gulf of Carpentaria.
We are looking for an experienced Gardener to join the team. Offering a daily rate of pay, including full board and keep (single accommodation) plus the opportunity to be part of an engaging and supportive team.
Must be fit, healthy with strong work ethic and sense of community.
Position involves, but not limited to the following:
Mowing and general maintenance of garden areas
Assist with general maintenance of buildings and garden surrounds
Perform daily checks and services on garden equipment
Prepare and apply chemicals
Work in a safe and healthy manner in accordance with the company’s Occupational Health and Safety Policies
Carry out other station duties as required by management
Start date ASAP.
Candidates may be required to undergo background screening, including reference checking and must be vaccinated for Q Fever and COVID-19.
