Duties for Sommelier/Wine Waiter

- Minimum 1 year demonstrated experience as Sommelier / Wine Waiter
- Experience fast-paced, high turnover restaurant advantageous
- Passion for wine and the industry
- Basic knowledge in local, national and international wine
- Exceptional service skills
- Excellent communication and organisation
- Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day to day operations
- Adaptable, flexible and able to work in a high pressure environment
- Possess a valid Certificate of Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Available to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays

Duties for Waitstaff

- Demonstrated experience as a Floor Waitstaff or Runner in a high volume environment
- Exceptional service skills and be guest focused
- Highly adaptable and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
- Organisational and time management skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation
- Proactive, strong work ethic with a "can do" attitude
- Able and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shift
- Must hold an RSA Certificate (easily obtainable)
