Bar Staff / Supervisor

The Gerald Apartment Hotel was established in 2018. We are a 40 room boutique hotel. Included in our venue is Bobs Boutique bar, Old Man & The Sea – Rooftop Bar and Function Spaces. We have already received a number of awards including AHA Best Regional Hotel 2018, MWCCI Business Excellence Tourism Award 2019 and are Finalists for AHA Best Superior Hotel Australia 2019 and Finalists in the WA Gold Plate Awards 2019.

Opening and closing duties, including cleaning duties

Current WA Responsible Service of Alcohol Licence
Working rights within Australia
Bar experience favourable
Additional duties for Supervisor:

Duties:

Supervise the smooth running of the bars
Ensure all venues open on time and that they are ready for business.
Ensure excellent front of house service, allocate and support staff throughout the shift to maintain speed of service and cleanliness of venue.
Keep staff busy and productive at all times.
Maintain stock, FIFO, stock rotation and storage to a high standard.
Liaise on shift with Head Chef to resolve problems and ensure great service.
Pre-empt and actively responding to problems that arise and keeping management up to date.
Ensure all venues close on time, end of day jobs completed to a high standard, staff are signed off promptly, all back and front of house areas checked and secured and that venues are in excellent order for the next day’s service.
To actively maintain all areas within your remit, i.e. toilets, bar, floor layout.
To clean and maintain all equipment and notify management of any issues.
Assist in cash handling procedures as required
Feedback on your shift to the managers and supervisor taking over.
