Meat Process Worker

Pacific Meat Sales is a family-owned business operating for over 25 years. Specializing in high-quality meat sales to a domestic and export market. Our focus is on Pork, Beef, and Veal, which is supplied through 5 different brands.

We are recruiting multiple Process Workers to join our meat processing and packing facility in Thomastown.

Key responsibilities

general laboring and cleaning
packing and sorting meat and/or meat products
operating machinery
handling knives to trim, cut, slice meat and/or meat products
have a desire to produce product to a high standard
ability to work with pork/beef product
Skills required

Previous experience within the meat processing industry is not essential but will be highly regarded
Be comfortable handling beef, pork, and lamb meat and meat products
Be physically fit with the ability to lift repetitively
Working on a conveyor belt system
Ability to follow the Health & Safety Standards and policies
Ability to maintain a clean working environment
Working collaboratively as part of a high performing team
Have all 3 Vaccinations against Covid 19 and have a valid Proof of Vaccination
Current and valid Australian working rights
