Warehouse Logistics Assistant

Made by Storey is looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Logistics Assistant in a part-time capacity, working three days per week with a view to more.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your day to day duties will include:
Receiving and checking deliveries to ensure that the correct amount and type of stock is delivered
Offering assistance to other staff in the warehouse
Making deliveries to the showroom and to client sites
Organising the warehouse in a neat and tidy manner ensuring that OHS requirements are adhered to
Delivering and hand unloading 20kg boxes of flooring to client's premise
Dealing with clients and builders in a polite and professional manner
Dropping off samples to the showroom and to clients
Completing warehouse duties. This includes picking, packing, shipping and unloading containers as required
Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities

About You

The successful candidate will be able to meet the following criteria:
Previous experience in a similar role
A valid Australian Driver's Licence
A Forklift Licence is preferable however if you do not hold the appropriate licence Made by Storey may assist you with completing this
Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Excellent work ethic with a positive attitude
