Salmon Harvest

We are seeking enthusiastic people to join or team for the entire season of Salmon Caviar Harvest in May in Murrindindi, Vic 3717. The season will begin on approximately the 9th of may for atleast 4 weeks. (Please note, these dates may extend due to the nature of the product and fish) Two positions will be available a week before harvest on a first come first served basis.

You will be lead by our experienced farm manager with the small group working as one unit the entire time in the beautiful surrounds of the Yarra Valley Region.

The work involves manual handling of the fish, netting and stripping roe from the fish. Note a high degree of care is required during this process.

Additional positions are required for our processing team also involving packaging and processing of roe indoors.

Experience is not required, as all training will be given on-site.

The working hours are from 8am- 4pm, Monday to Friday. With some available additional hours depending on the daily operation.

$30 p.h + superannuation.Award rates apply, covering all hours worked and scheduled breaks. There are two half hour breaks throughout the day one of which is payed.

Payslips provided and wages transferred to account fortnightly. We are classed as regional agriculture employment so working holiday visa sign off is available if required.
