Seeking Experienced F&b Allrounders - Work On Beautiful Norfolk Island!

Governor’s Lodge Resort on Norfolk Island are seeking personalities who are passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences in a remote & unique location.

The Food & Beverage role is working across our three dining areas- The Boatshed (serving breakfast & lunch) The Lounge Bar & Café (all day dining) and our premier restaurant Bailey’s (modern Australian a la carte dinner) in the evenings as per our roster. Duties such as waiting tables, bar and barista work. There would be a mix of morning, day and evening shifts. You must hold a current Australian RSA (valid for any Australian state) if serving alcohol.

The Housekeeping role would be cleaning general hotel areas, plus cleaning & servicing our 55 cabins. Occasionally you may also be required to clean our sister property Crest Apartments (12 self-contained units) or Christians of Bucks Point (3 bedroom holiday home) Your week would be spread over a 7 day roster in line with each department’s requirements of an applicable week.

Occasionally we may need your help with other jobs such helping with dishes, food prep, admin/data entry or cleaning & delivering cars (we also operate a car hire company Crest Auto)

Essential requirements prior to applying:
- Able to commit to a minimum 4-6 month stay
- Experience in a similar role
- A great passion, pride and enthusiastic for your work. We want you to come to work with a positive, friendly and can do attitude
- RSA (if applying for F&B)
- Barista experience (if applying for F&B)

Highly Desirable skills but not essential:
- Prior experience working within a Hotel/Resort
- Regional experience
- Drivers licence
