Grocery Store - Retail Hospitality Assistant

Retail Hospitality Assistant in the town of Ti Tree, NT [2hr North of Alice Springs]

·Hourly rate over $ thirty dollars [Experienced based] + Super

·Hours 7:00am – 5pm Mon – Friday

·Accommodation provided

*Must have current manual drivers license

*Must submit 2 recent employment references or contact info for 2 recent referees

*Must be able to stay on for 6 months minimum.

*Must have appropriate customer friendly language and dress code.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A Retail Hospitality Assistant will perform a range of duties within the operation of the Grocery Store.

The duties of a Retail Hospitality Assistant may include (but not limited to):

·Working in a team environment under management.

·Selling of merchandise and Customer service.

·Preparation of Stock including fresh food for display.

·Movement of Stock around the Store.

·Point of Sale systems and procedures including operation of Registers.

·Cleaning of store floor, shelves etc.

·Work within the guidelines of policy and procedures.

·Demonstrate friendly, clean, professional communication skills.

·Routine operation of a range of equipment used within the operation of the Store.

·Preparation of food in the take-away outlet.

·Be able to work unsupervised and be responsible.

.Take direction from management

.Problem solving

.Loading and unloading of supplies.

.Take care of property maintenance as required.

The successful candidate will have Accommodation supplied at $135/week, which includes all utilities.

Any candidate who owns a pet will need to include details during their application.

Candidates will also be required to submit a ‘Criminal Background Check’ with their application. [Available from the Police]
