Labourer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a General Labourer to assist with general labour activities in our Steel Fabrication plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for using hand tools and electric hand tools, measuring and calculating, and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Assist with general labour activities in the Steel Fabrication plant
Use hand tools and electric hand tools to perform assigned tasks
Measure and calculate as required
Work safely and efficiently at all times
Follow all plant policies and procedures
Keep work area clean and organized
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
Comfortable using hand tools and electric hand tools
Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
Basic math skills and ability to calculate measurements
Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to learn and take direction
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety standards

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent
