Job Description
• Starting wage of $55 an hr plus penalties for ABN holders or $35.70 an hr casual plus penalties through our company.
• Experience not necessary.
• 30 hours plus per week or less if wanted.
• 100% fitness and physical strength are essential.
• Should be fluent in English and must have drivers licence.
• Assistance may be required with showering, toileting, exercise, massage, shopping, gardening, household management, community access & recreation.
• The Client has a spinal injury and lives with 3 other support workers on his self sufficient property in Kuranda, which is about 45 minutes north of Cairns.
• Free rent, electricity, wi-fi & Netflix for people seeking a live-in option, as we still have a spare room. (preferred) But for people travelling from Cairns the last shift to finishes at 8:30 PM so road closures do not affect this position.
• This position qualifies as the 88 day requirement for a WHV.
