The Melbourne Documentary Film Festival (MDFF) is seeking passionate volunteers for our 2025 event, running July 1st to July 31st at iconic venues across Melbourne, including Cinema Nova, IMAX, Nighthawks, Wildflower Picture House, and Library at The Docks!

What We’re Looking For:
We need enthusiastic individuals—experienced or looking to get experience—to bring MDFF 2025 to life in these key roles:
Ticketing: Friendly, organized volunteers to manage ticket sales, check-ins, and assist attendees with a smile.
Presenters: Charismatic storytellers to introduce screenings, engage audiences, and host Q&A sessions with confidence.
Managers: Natural leaders to oversee teams, coordinate logistics, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Projectionists: Tech-savvy individuals to handle film playback and troubleshoot equipment for flawless screenings.
Graphic Design: Creative minds to craft eye-catching visuals, posters, and festival materials.
Social Media & Marketing: Digital dynamos to boost our online presence, create buzz, and connect with our audience.
Editors: Detail-oriented talents to refine footage, create festival highlights, and polish promotional content.
Videographers: Skilled shooters to capture the festival’s magic, from screenings to behind-the-scenes moments.
