Midwife - Birthing Unit

Access Nursing Agency recruits Registered Nurses and Midwives to provide Nursing Agency staff to our client hospitals across metropolitan Sydney.
One of our hospitals has requested us to supply Midwives with recent Birth Unit experience to work under a contract arrangement with the Agency for a three-month period at their hospital located in metropolitan Sydney.
This could be an interesting opportunity for Midwives from the UK or Ireland with the required experience who are either considering working or are already working in Australia under a 417 Visa (Working Holiday Visa).
The employment agreement would be a maximum term contract for a period of three months (average of 38 hours/week). There is some flexibility on timing which could accommodate your intended itinerary.
Importantly:
You must be registered as a Midwife with AHPRA and have recent experience working in a Birthing Unit.
The work will involve shift and some weekend work.
The hospital will provide a paid two-day orientation program.
You must either have or be eligible to apply for a 417 Visa - see Department of Home Affairs website for more details.
Longer contract periods may be available - subject to discussion with the hospital.
