Electronic Security Assistant Technician

Job Description
We are looking for a motivated individual to assist with our security installation work.
Our work is varied and will require a hands-on individual who has problem solving abilities, technical skills and experience working on-site.
Experience in the industry (or similar telecommunications, electrical or IT industry) will be looked upon favourable but a keen to learn and positive attitude will also be considered.
What you’ll be doing:
• Assist with cabling work installation for a variety of security and building technology systems
• Assist with fit-off, termination and cable management work for CCTV, access control, alarm system and intercoms
• Assist with configuration and commissioning of security equipment
• Assist with fault finding and diagnostic work
• Assist with estimation, site documentation and solution engineering

At present we are looking for a someone to work on a casual / contractor basis, however this can evolve into a more permanent position as we grow.
We expect to pay rates of $35 to $40 per hour to start with depending on experience and capabilities.
