Chef / Cook

Are you looking for a chef / cook role? If you are currently living in Australia and a chef or great cook this is the perfect job for you!
We run a motor inn with its own locals bar and our restaurant is open for dinner 7 x nights a week but you'll be working 5 or 6 nights from 4.00pm to 10.30 or later depending on numbers. That leaves most of the day to explore the countryside here or work in our local cafe during the day.
Our meals are pub style - large generous serves - and you will have 1 - 3 people helping you depending on the night.
If you are travelling with someone there is also work available for them in our business and possibly at the local cafe.
Alternatively there are a numbers of small businesses who are constantly on the lookout for skilled or enthusiastic workers so employment opportunities are great here.

A meal is provided to kitchen and bar staff on the nights you work. You have full access to the kitchen to prepare your own meals outside working hours.

Accommodation is available in a share house. There is a minimal weekly charge to cover expenses.

Jugiong is only a small village but perfectly located between Canberra and Wagga and only just off the Hume Highway. It is about 3 ½ hours drive from Sydney. The nearest supermarket is 25 minutes drive from here so it is best to have a car, however there is always an opportunity to get a lift into town to shop for essentials.
