Work detail (Raspberries Picking)
~Piece rate job ($0.60 - $1.20 per punnets depending on season and market)
-The more you pick the more you earn.
How to pick
-Use the bucket given to fill it up with raspberries, send it to the truck for sorting and packing the raspberries into small punnets.
Pros of raspberries
1. Stability of job
- that able to give you at least 5 days a week when the season stable and if peak season will make you work for 7 days in a week. Because raspberries it grow too fast that able to make you pick the same block for everyday if the weather is hot.
2. Fixed start time
- you are going to work during sunrise and the time is fixed (for example right now is 6am everyday)
3. Undercover tunnel
- you will be picking inside the tunnel that away you from rain and sun. Even though is a raining day, you still will be working.
Your Wages
-Total punnets you pick x price per punnets = Your daily wages
- For example, you packed 250 punnets today, price is $0.80. 250 punnets x $0.80 = $200 is your wages.
-Payday will be on Friday or Saturday
Accomodations
-3-4 bedroom sharehouse (photos provided as request)
-Maximum 2 person per room (only 1 bedroom can sleep for 3 person)
- Rent $170-$180 per week + 2 weeks bonds
-Required 2 weeks notice for leaving
Transportation
-Will be arrange (Those have drivers license is a bonus, we will provide company car for those doesn’t have car)
-Transportation fee $10 pay straight to the driver
