Logistics Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and track the arrival of materials and equipment to the site, ensuring they arrive on time and in good condition.
• Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal stakeholders to ensure all deliveries meet project timelines
• Oversee the unloading and receiving of materials on-site, checking deliveries against purchase orders, and ensuring quantities and specifications are correct.
• Maintain accurate records of all received goods and report discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure that essential materials are stocked and available to avoid project delays.
• Maintain an organized storage system for materials on-site.
• Develop and maintain detailed delivery schedules for materials and equipment to ensure that all necessary items are available when required.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure that all logistics activities comply with safety regulations and protocols.
• Provide regular status reports to the Project Manager on material status, logistics, and delivery timelines.
• Act as the key point of contact for all logistics-related inquiries between the project site, suppliers, and transportation companies.
• Effectively communicate any issues, delays, or concerns regarding deliveries or inventory levels.

Essential Criteria

• 2 - 3 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably in a construction or project-based environment.
• Current WA Forklift Licence
• Current WA HR Drivers Licence is an advantage
• Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of transport and shipping procedures.
