Ulandra is hiring!

We are a mushroom grower in Lakeland, Far North Queensland and have Farm Hand positions available.

We are looking for hardworking and reliable staff to be part of our team.
You must be fit and willing to work indoors in colder environments.
No previous experience is required, but we appreciate a keen willingness to learn new skills!

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Picking and packing mushrooms
• Performing routine cleaning tasks
• Pushing and pulling mushroom trolleys
• Stacking and unstacking mushroom trolleys
• Maintaining a high standard of quality in your work

Employment details:
Work available for immediate start
Level 1 – Horticulture Award 2020 (MA000028) – $23.46 per hour
Full-time position
38 hours a week

Working hours:
Monday to Friday: 06:30am to 4:30pm
Please note: Working days and hours may vary depending on market orders, weather conditions, and the season of the year.

Ulandra is offering permanent, full-time positions.
To be considered, applicants must be willing to work for at least 6 months. Applicants should enjoy working within a team and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Lakeland is located 3 hours north-west of Cairns. The township has a pub, roadhouse and small store. The nearest supermarket and medical facility is in Cooktown (approximately 45 minutes drive north). Transport is limited to private vehicles or commercial bus services – Cairns Cooktown Express and Trans North Bus Service.
