Au Pair/ Household Help

We are looking for our next nanny to start in February 2025 who is energetic, organised and has a genuine love for kids to help look after our two kids, Thomas (8 y/o) and Charlie (3.5 y/o). My husband and I work full time and occasionally are required to travel for work so we are looking for someone to help look after the kids and keep our household happy and (relatively) calm! We would love to introduce someone to our family and our farming life in rural Australia!
We live on a large grain and cattle property in a place called Coolatai, in North West NSW. My husband works on the farm full time and I am a Principal at a nearby school. We would need someone to work 5 days a week. At the moment, Thomas is at school 5 days a week, while Charlie is at preschool 2 days. Days will involve getting the kids to and from school and preschool, after school activities when they are on, making meals, facilitating homework time, assisting with household work (e.g. cleaning/washing clothes etc), looking after Charlie on non preschool days.

You will get weekends off (although very occasionally, you may be required to work on the weekend and take time off in lieu during the week).

We live on a farm, 45kms from a small town so it is quite remote. You will have your own basic living quarters close (but separate) to our family home.
We look forward to welcoming you into our family but also recognise the importance of allowing you to live independently as well as have some fun downtime when not at work! There is a local pub which attracts young workers from the district only 10 minutes drive away. We are also about an hour from several big towns named Inverell, Goondiwindi and Moree with lots of shops/bars/movie
cinema/services etc.

If you are looking to experience the authentic Australian outback, this is a good opportunity. Lots of kangaroos, echidnas, emus and open starry skies.

Our ideal candidate must have their driver's license and will be able to use our vehicle for work (and personal use if required). They will also be organised, responsible, energetic and have a flexible approach to work. They'll show initiative, love kids and be interested in country life.

There is the possibility of mixing in some farmhand work if you are looking for your 2nd or 3rd year visa sign off.
