Job Description

We are after a Station Cook for Cattle Station

  • Be available for season if possible – February through to November
  • Be capable to cook for 14 full-time staff plus extra contractors/visitors at times
  • Previous experience in cooking
  • Cooking breakfast, smoko, lunch & dinner – split shift with rest between lunch and dinner
  • Maintain clean and uncluttered kitchen
  • Be able to work & live remotely as we are 3 hours to closest town which is Quilpie & Thargomindah
  • Must be able to be adaptable and flexible
  • Someone welcoming, friendly and wants to be involved in wider team
  • Gross Day rate is $249.16 per day – with $6 per day taken out for board and keep
  • Cottage accomodation, food, WIFI internet included
  • 5 1/2 days per week, sometimes working Sundays when crew is working
