Thousand Lakes Wilderness Lodge is delighted to offer an exciting position for an experienced Housekeeper to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry and are eager to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Tasmania.

Thousand Lakes Wilderness Lodge is a boutique wilderness lodge, with 9 premium quality rooms, nestled in the alpine landscapes of the Tasmanian Central Highlands. The lodge offers a unique work environment where staff can enjoy a balanced work/life routine, making it an ideal setting for those who appreciate hiking, bushwalking, fishing, walking, and experiencing native flora and fauna. The peacefulness and solitude of the lodge provide a remarkable opportunity for personal growth and tranquility.

Key Responsibilities:
• Hotel housekeeping to high standard
• Maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the lodge’s public areas
• Opportunity to also work as needed, assisting with breakfast and dinner service.

Requirements:
• Your own transport – state you have own car in your introduction message
• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
• Strong attention to detail and takes pride in work
• Ability to work to standards set and follow instruction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working and living in a remote location
• Minimum commitment of 3 months
