Job Description

Venue Manager Roles & Duties
1. Operations Management:

Oversee daily venue operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
Manage opening and closing procedures.
2. Staff Supervision:

Recruit, train, and supervise staff.
Create schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
3. Customer Service:

Ensure a high-quality guest experience by addressing feedback and complaints.
Monitor service standards and resolve issues promptly.
4. Financial Management:

Oversee budgets, sales targets, and expenses.
Manage cash flow, billing, and financial reporting.
5. Marketing & Events:

Coordinate promotions, marketing activities, and events to boost business.
Ensure the venue is effectively advertised and represented.
6. Compliance:

Ensure adherence to health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Handle inspections and audits as required.
7. Inventory Management:

Oversee stock levels and coordinate orders for supplies and equipment.
Minimize waste and manage supplier relationships.
8. Maintenance:

Ensure the venue is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Address maintenance issues promptly.
A venue manager must be organized, adaptable, and capable of leading a team to create exceptional experiences while achieving business goals.
