Furniture Driver/offsider Removalist - Property Styling - Full Time Hours

About The Hired Home
The Hired Home is a boutique property styling company founded in January 2014. We service clients across the Sydney metropolitan area, with a primary focus on the Inner West and Lower North Shore. Our warehouse is centrally located in Marrickville, providing a convenient base for our operations.

About the Role
This is not your average truck driver role! We’re looking for an energetic and proactive individual who loves variety, teamwork, and making spaces shine. This casual position offers up to full-time hours (7am-3pm) and will transition to a full-time role once the right candidate is found. No weekend work, giving you the perfect work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
+ Transport styling furniture and materials to and from properties.
+ Picking pre-selected furniture and accessories.
+ Loading/unloading delivery vehicles and ensuring furniture and soft furnishings are carefully stored in their designated areas.
+ Assisting stylists in placing furniture, hanging art, cleaning furniture, and minor repairs.
+ Managing pack downs and packing of homewares.
+ Maintaining/cleaning furniture and general warehouse housekeeping duties.
+ Assembling furniture and performing minor repairs.
+ Receiving and logging returned jobs.
+ Keeping the warehouse and company vehicles in an orderly and tidy condition.
+ Troubleshooting any challenges on-site with a practical approach.
+ Ad hoc duties as necessary.

What We’re Looking For
+ A reliable and well-presented individual.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and common sense.
+ Physically capable of handling furniture and materials, with core strength, agility, and stamina.
+ Excellent planning and organisational skills to meet strict deadlines.
+ Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks and challenges.
+ Previous experience in a similar removals role or working with furniture is preferred but not essential.
+ Driver to have previous to truck packing experience, or ability to complete with training.
+ Experience in packing and driving a truck is an advantage but not essential.
+ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Comfortable using computer systems.
+ Strong commitment to safety.
+ Drivers’ licence is essential (for driver position and renumeration) 
+ A positive attitude: we hire on attitude, not just experience! Training will be provided.

$240 - $320 per day (Plus super) - Dependant on role and experience.
