Farm Hand Roles - Row Crop Operations (irrigation)
• Full time - Seasonal positions (3-5 months)

Carrington Cotton is a family owned Agribusiness with operations across Cotton, Grain, Cattle and Ginning activities, along with motel and caravan park operations, we provide employees with a safe and supportive working environment.
We are currently seeking permanent and casual farmhand's applicants to join our team in the New Year, on our farms located in the Goondiwindi QLD region> Applicants need to be reliable, hard-working and team-oriented individuals to join our farming operations teams.
So, if you possess a good attitude, strong and reliable work ethic, with initiative and willingness, combined with being committed to safe work practices and are available for a minimum of 3 to 5 months or interested in a full-time position. This role will provide plenty of variety in across row crop farming operations
This position also counts towards your WHV visa sign off.
Duties include, but not limited to
• Operation of various machinery and equipment
• Irrigation duties – Day / Night shift roster
• General maintenance of on farm machinery & structures
• Willingness to assist others as required
• Ability to work alone and unsupervised
Position requirements
• Current driver’s license
• Must be reliable, flexible and possess a good work ethic
• Well-presented and good communication skills
• Current certification and relevant training (i.e chemical) favourable, or willingness to obtain
• Must comply with company OH&S practices
• Common sense
You must have the right to work in Australia, without restriction and be confident of passing the company's pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen. A full company induction along with site training will be provided on your commencing.

The Carrington Cotton Group is a privately owned family Agri business with farming operations in Northern NSW and Southern QLD, based in Goondiwindi.
Our farming activities involved both irrigated and broadacre cropping:
• Cotton • Grains - Wheat / Barley / Faba Beans / Chickpeas
• Fodder crops - Corn / Oats / Sorghum
Alongside our cropping operations we also operate a Cotton Gin and Warehousing facility, which provides ginning and warehouse services to cotton producers in the MacIntyre Valley.
The business is also involved in the beef cattle industry, operating a Feedlot in conjunction with several background grazing properties in the Goondiwindi region.
In addition to our farming activities, we also operate Motel and Carvan Park.
