Exciting Job opportunity working with Fraser Dingo 4wd Adventures coordinating our tours for K'gari (Fraser Island)

Job Offer in Hervey Bay, Fraser Coast - Early January 2025

Fraser Dingo 4wd Adventure’s is a 4wd tagalong tour operator based in Hervey Bay (on the Fraser Coast) specialising in 4wd Adventures to K’gari Fraser Island. We’re all about Eco adventuring, professional customer service and love sharing our passion with our large variety of customers and our great team of employees. Live and work in the wonderful Hervey Bay, a great beach town with cafe’s, bars, and lots to do in the area.

It's an office job, meaning Monday to Friday (and two Saturdays a month) from approximately 6:45 am to 3:00 pm. It's casual, with weekly hours around 30-35 (more on demand) ⏰

You must be willing to commit for 5-6 months. Please do not apply if you cannot stay for that period.

What are we looking for? ⬇️

Preferably someone with tourism experience (travel agency, tourism studies, etc.) - or significant proven experience in hospitality

You will need to be a quick learner and be able to work independently

Your English proficiency must be good, as you'll be in contact with passengers from all over the world and colleagues, where the spoken language is solely English. Other languages are an advantage, but English is the official communication language

You must be ready to start in early January, so we can train you in the position

‼️ Most importantly, you must have a driver's license and feel comfortable driving a 4x4 ‼️

What would be your tasks? ⬇️

- Organising the passenger manifest for each tour
- Placing grocery orders for each tour
- Preparing food for the tour (you must have worked with food safety, knowledge of allergies, diets, etc.)
- Coordinating work for the volunteers we have on the island
- Daily cleaning (office & after tour returns)
- Qualifications with advantage: knowledge of product updates (Viator, Get Your Guide, Hero), knowledge of website editing, google docs/sheets, Canva...
