Disaster Recovery Army Incorporated is a community services charity organisation that provides relief and recovery work to people and communities after a disaster.

Whether it be a fire, flood or storm, we’re a go-to organisation that people turn to when they need to get their lives and properties back.

We partner with other relief agencies and supporter businesses to clear up damage caused by disasters.

Operating throughout Victoria, our work helps people in regional and rural areas.

For the next three months, we’re bracing ourselves for a season that will bring bushfires and even floods to Victoria, so we’re expanding into more regional locations and recruiting more workers and volunteers.

We currently have positions in multiple locations including Bendigo, Stawell, Geelong and Traralgon/Sale.

What roles are available?

The work we do is varied. We have roles in admin, hospitality and cooking, fundraising, cleaning, gardening and land clearing, fencing, transport, and so much more. Some of our support partners also have a need for people to work in construction.

You don’t have to have experience as you’ll be trained into your role, with work available for up to 6 days a week.
