Handyperson-Broome-Western Australia
We are seeking an experienced Handyperson for this busy property located in beautiful Broome, Western Australia.
The ideal candidate will have previous general maintenance and grounds experience and enjoy working outdoors in a labour based role.
You will work for a fantastic employer that own and operate several venues in the Kimberley Region.
Broome offers beautiful beaches, warm tropical weather, bustling local markets, numerous local dining venues and a laid back lifestyle.
Pay Details: (Fulltime including annual leave)
$60,000-$65,000 Salary Range
Accommodation- $191.91 per week
Own room-share bathroom in a share house
IMMEDIATE START
Duties:
Repairing broken items such as windows, screens, fences
Cleaning gardens and removing rubbish
Loading, unloading and moving garden supplies and equipment
Raking, aerating, dethatching, fertilising and mowing lawns
Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in mechanical system and other hotel equipment
Coordinating with local health, safety, fire, and building inspections to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations
Pool & reticulation experience would be an advantage
Other duties as per position description
Candidate Requirements:
Must be seeking a long term commitment
Must be physically fit and enjoy working outdoors in a labour based role
Work well as part of a team
Able to work autonomously when required
Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role
