Farmhand Opportunity In The Beautiful Hinterland Of Byron Bay (whv Extension Eligible - Postcode 248

Join our friendly farm team located in the stunning hinterland of Byron Bay, just 19km from the beach and surrounded by rolling green hills. Our 60-acre property is home to cattle, chickens, guinea fowl, goats, dogs, and the occasional herd of agisting horses. We also grow a variety of fruit and vegetables.

This position is open to both singles and couples. While accommodation is not included, this can be discussed and is subject to negotiation.

The role qualifies for a Working Holiday Visa extension, and you'll be working alongside a young, well-travelled family who treat their workers with respect, not as backpacker labour. Our community of young, friendly neighbours adds to the welcoming atmosphere.

Skills and Experience: While experience with livestock, fencing, or machinery (such as chainsaws, excavators, and tractors) would be an advantage, it's not essential. Any background in trades like carpentry, building, plumbing, mechanical work, dry stone walling, or welding will be highly valued and may even attract additional pay.

We are looking for honest, reliable individuals who can verify their skills (please don’t exaggerate—transparency is key).

Job Responsibilities:

Feeding and caring for animals
General farm activities
Assisting with renovations, maintenance, fencing, and repairs
The farm is located a 30-minute drive from Byron Bay and Lennox Head, with some produce (such as eggs and fruit) available for workers. Transport options can be discussed.
