Job Description
Pier Street Cafe and Arlo Wine Bar in Portarlington are hiring chefs and Bar staff for casual summertime positions
Pier Street is a bustling beachside cafe, home of Portarlington mussels and a specialist in all things seafood. We use fresh local produce, we have set recipes, we cook from scratch and are good at bringing on and training new hires. Pier St is extremely busy throughout summer. Open breakfast lunch and dinner
Arlo is a pasta bar, we make fresh pasta everyday, all our own sauces. The menu features lots of wine-friendly snacks and small plates. Arlo is a lunch / dinner venue, we're also hiring both full time and casual.
Both restaurants are owned and run by chef Peter Roddy who has owned hatted venues in Melbourne and has a background in high end European cooking.
We run friendly respectful fun venues to work at and value professionalism and a can do attitude. There is opportunity to grow in the company.
We have local residents who can rent you a room 250 - 300 per week
